Massage opens the body’s energy paths; stimulates and enhances circulation of body fluids, activating the lymphatic system; egulates the digestive Systems; strengthens muscles, bones, and blood vessels; improves skin and body tone, removes muscular fatigue and pain and revitalizes the body’s self healing mechanisms.Abhyanga improves concenteration,Intelligence, confidence and youthfulness. Massage is done in a wooden table called “Droni”.

NETRA TARPAN

Netra Tarpana is a special Ayurvedic treatment for the eyes in which the eyes are bathed in pure medicated cow’s ghee. It relieves tiredness and also improves eyesight. NAVARKIZHI

This treatment is also called as ' Hot rice massage'. Rice cooked in milk & herbal juices is filled in soft cotton bags. This along with warm medicated cow milk is massaged on the body. PIZHICHIL (KAYASEKA)

PIZHICHIL is a relaxing, soothing and rejuvenating treatment with medicated warm oil used in a continuous stream for a definite period for the whole body (excluding head & neck). This is one of the important external oleation methods. It consists of medicated oil retention over the head. This is done with the help of specially designed elongated leather cap. Especially it is indicated in facial palsy, insomnia, dry nose, dryness of the eye, migraine, headache, memory loss, mental stress and strain. Shirovasti has an added benefit of rejuvenating the whole body, relieving the exhaustion and restoring the luster of the skin.
